Nestled in the Valley of the Ten Peaks, Lake Moraine is famous for its vivid turquoise colour—a brilliance created by the fine rock particles carried into it by melting glaciers. What might appear at first as sediment or waste is, in fact, the very ingredient that gives the lake its extraordinary beauty.
